Description
Single Origin, Cool Climate Dark Rum Batch 002 Fermented, distilled, matured and bottled on site at our distillery on the rugged and remote south east coast of Tasmania. With only 202 bottles created for our second rum release, this batch has been aged for just over 2 years, commencing maturation in virgin American oak and finishing in a Muscat cask. First impressions on the nose are of crème brûlée and sticky date pudding. A beautifully creamy and warming palate reveals buttered pancakes and pecan pie. The finish is a long slow savouring of deeply roasted nuts with a subtle yet vibrant oak.
